Working with Betsy and her team at Studio BV has been a dream come true (both on the design that was brought to life on the Success Express and the incredibly knowledgeable and brilliant team that was alongside us through the entire process). Betsy’s ability to see and create a space that makes people feel and be moved is beyond inspiring and a true gift.

Thanks to Betsy and her team we will be able to serve more women across the state and bring a welcoming experience that makes each our clients feel important.
— Stephanie Silvers, Chief Executive Officer, Dress for Success Twin Cities

Betsy is not only an amazing designer and innovator but she is a person who cares deeply about community and being of service to those less fortunate. The process that we embarked on for the design of our building was inclusive and successful! She listened! She thought about those we serve every step of the way.
The entire team made us feel like we were their only clients. The results are astounding!!

We are forever grateful for her vision and generosity.

Our new space is a manifestation of all that is good in the world because people cared.
— Renay Dossman, President, NDC | Neighborhood Development Center
Our residential hospice opened in 2018 ... [A]t the time, the space met the needs of our hospice children, families and care teams, but did not accommodate space for our administrative staff. For the first 3 years of operation, the Executive Director, Human Resources and fundraising staff worked entirely off-site in a windowless office space a 15-minute drive from where the hospice home is located. ...[w]e engaged with Studio BV to convert the home’s existing garage space into space that the administrative team could occupy.

This move has been monumental for the administrative staff who now feel more connected to the children and families being served by Crescent Cove. Not only is the new space light, bright, and conducive to collaboration and multi-purpose use, but the connection with the home itself has brought fulfillment to the administration staff now working on-site in the home.

Working with Betsy and the Studio BV team was an absolute pleasure! They helped us see possibilities beyond simply making updates and fixing problems, and created trauma-informed spaces that feel warm, welcoming, relevant, and are ready for the future.

They took time to get to know us, who we serve, what we do, how we do it, and most importantly how our spaces can help us live into our mission of safety, hope, and healing. Their extraordinary generosity and passion was contagious and ignited generosity within their networks, so they were able to generate maximum impact and value to deliver the kind of space our clients, team, and guests deserve rather than simply settle for.

And best of all, they are powerful storytellers and infused the inspiration of our namesake Harriet Tubman throughout every aspect of the design!

There is an extra bounce in my step when I enter the office now.

The work space feels like a perk of my employment. The design and layout of the office invites collaboration with co-workers and helps communicate the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The mural at the front entrance with its sweeping mosaic suggests the movement of air. The undulated soundproofing in the ceiling mimics the expansion and contraction of healthy lungs.

This design effort was intentional and underscores the critical work we do every day.
— Joe Schwei, Executive Director, Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
